In response to Eucharist - Photographic Installtion

A photographic installation of the artist justaposed with Hiram B Otis, a character from Oscar Wilde's The Canterville Ghost, presented an exploration of indentity, cultural context and fashion. Patrick Lee made a garden-grave yard at Para Site with real grass and dried leaves. Together with old trunks and found objects, the artist shared with the audience his spiritual journey.

Born 1949 in Malaysia. Member of visual group -- Aux Yeux and co-editor of Dislocation Magazine. Group shows including "Contemporary Photography from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan"(1994). Held two solo exhibitions: "to behold a flower" in Hong Kong(1991) and "BEHOLD" in Paris.

Artist statement
He sat and ate with us. He spoke and our hearts were gladdened. But we did not recognize him till the breaking of bread. In the brokeness of our humanity, we still have difficulty recognizing him.
